Frequently asked questions
How do I put music under a voice-over?
Drop your voice on the Voice track (or record it with ●) and the song on the Music track. Leave "Lower under the voice" on: the music goes down by itself while you speak and comes back up in the pauses. Add a fade in and a fade out to the music and export.
How do I cut a part out?
Put the playhead where the part starts and press S (split), then where it ends and press S again. Select the middle clip and press Delete. You can also drag the edges of a clip to trim it.
Which formats can I use?
Any audio the browser can read: MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG, Opus, FLAC, and the sound of MP4 or WebM videos. The mix is exported as MP3, WAV or M4A.
Is my audio uploaded?
No. Decoding, editing, mixing and encoding happen inside your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
Can I record my voice here?
Yes. Press ● on a track: the other tracks play while you record, so you can talk over the music. Press ● again (or Space) to stop.
